Naturism

Naturism

It is generally agreed by naturist organizations that eroticism and blatant sexuality have no place in naturism and are, in fact, antithetical to its ideals.
But that is not to be interpreted as a puritanical attitude toward sensuality.

At SunSport Gardens the number one rule is there are no rules in the sense that we are not an intentional community. We do not adhere to “isms”. Everyone is free to pursue their own personal paths and rates of growth. In fact we encourage personal growth and exploration and we strive to create a nurturing, healing environment to assist on that journey.

We only ask you respect these tenets of community life when your are at SunSport Gardens.
Please review them here.

That being said we strive to embrace the following generally accepted Naturist Ideals.

While the following ideals are worthy goals the most important one and the least ambiguous is the right to be ourselves without being forced by government or community to wear clothes.

Clothing Free is the corner stone belief of all Naturists world wide.

Naturist Ideals

Ecological or environmental —

Rapport with the natural world leading to a sense of humble stewardship of the earth.

Health —

Bathing in the sun, fresh air and water (balneotherapy, thalassotherapy, heliotherapy).Sun is a form of medicine.

Diet —

Encouraging the consumption of food that is natural and least processed and adulterated.

Rapport with other humans —

Equality and respect. Being nude in groups makes all feel more accepted — physically, intellectually and emotionally.

Spirituality —

Nudity, well being and direct contact to nature helps one feel closer to the universe.

Pedagogy —

Children should be respected as equals instead of being patronized, nurtured rather than managed.

Equality —

Clothes build social barriers. Social nudity leads to acceptance in spite of differences in age, body shape, fitness, financial standing and health.

Liberty —

No one has the right to tell others or their children that they must wear clothes.
