The Mid-Winter Naturist Week was a great success. There were many activities. Many thanks to the workshop leaders, the Sunsport volunteers, and the Sunsport staff who worked long hours to produce a smooth running and stimulating Week.
As always, the Week was six days of fun, growth, and community
The Annual Coed Volleyball Tournament:
The Annual Coed Volleyball Tournament on February 23rd was lots of fun. It is unique in that players are a member of a different team for each game. Vickie and Nick were crowned queen and king for totaling the most points in the games in which they played.

All other small items should be bagged and placed in the dumpster. The maintenance staff should not have to sort our garbage. If the garbage is not sorted properly, it can not be recycled. Thank you.
To help Sunsport and the environment, *please deposit aluminum cans in a special bin with a round hole in the top in the main recycling area.
The yellow containers are for paper and flattened cardboard
The blue containers are for aluminum cans*, glass, juice boxes, and plastics except styrofoam, bags, and utensils.

Banana Circle Throwback
Current Banana Circle located on Thala Trail along the Food Forest cart trail.
The beginning starts in 2019 as Mulch pit for the Banana circle is dug to the water table and then filled with mulch.
Bananas planted. The whole area is still dominated by Brazilian Peppers.
Pepper trees starting to be cleared around the banana circle.
Bananas growing fast.
Pachira aquatica is the huge tree to the left of the banana circle currently.
Here you can just barley see it in the middle in front of the banana circle as a young sapling.
Permaculture is a philosophy of design for creating a sustainable human culture. That is, it's a way of thinking about how we set up the support systems around us: shelter, food, water, energy, society and business. Well designed permaculture systems allow us to live as a beneficial part of the ecosystems around us.
