Some are strong like steel and can be used to build beautiful structure.
Some are mottled and can be used to make beautiful furniture.
The various culms come in many colors: Green, Yellow, Blue, Black, Orange, White, Grey, Striped, Mottled, Hairy or Powdered.
Of notable beauty and wonder are the new shooting culms that emerge in the spring and summer and their varied covering sheaths that come in a myriad of colors and patterns.
Spiritually, bamboo symbolizes resilience, flexibility, strength, and longevity, representing the ability to bend without breaking, while its hollow core signifies emptiness and openness to wisdom (Taoism/Buddhism). It embodies virtues like modesty, integrity, and good fortune, often used in Feng Shui for positive energy (Chi/Qi) and bringing luck, harmony, and prosperity.
