The trash area in the northeast corner of Sunsport has been eliminated. Large trash items may now be placed only in the maintenance yard with the supervision of Team Leader Roger Byrd, preferably Monday through Friday.
The trailer holding recyclable scrap metal will be moved to the maintenance area. Plastic bags full of waste should be deposited in the dumpster in the recycling area, not in the maintenance area.

Place materials such as clean paper and cardboard in the yellow bins; cans, plastics (except styrofoam, utensils, and bags), juice boxes, and glass and plastic bottles in the blue bins. Hey What is Permaculture?

Permaculture is a philosophy of design for creating a sustainable human culture. That is, it's a way of thinking about how we set up the support systems around us: shelter, food, water, energy, society and business. Well designed permaculture systems allow us to live as a beneficial part of the ecosystems around us.

Art & Naturism.......naturist spirited art

One with Nature:

Nude Paintings in Natural Settings

Alexandre Cabanel, The Birth of Venus, 1863
Depictions of the nude figurative form is a time-honored artistic tradition dating back to antiquity. Depending on the period in question, the symbolism of nudity in artwork varies in associations ranging from fertility or athleticism and of course, the erotic. The depiction of nude figures set within landscapes conveys an unparalleled sense of freedom, relaxation, and nonchalance. It is no doubt a fairly uncommon scene outside of the artist’s canvas. Here are ten paintings of the nude figure(s) portrayed within breathtaking natural settings.

1. Proto-Cubist Nude by Jean Metzinger

Jean Metzinger, Two Nudes in an Exotic Landscape, ca. 1905
This painting is by a notable French painter and theorist of the Fauve period, Jean Metzinger. It is a fine example of Proto-Cubist work with a stunning mosaic effect. The figures in the center of the painting are rendered in natural tones, while the setting is exuberant and whimsical. The silhouettes of the figures are natural and full and appear to almost blend into the dream-like landscape that envelopes them.

2. Classical Nude by William-Adolphe Bouguereau

William-Adolphe Bouguereau, Birth of Venus, ca. 1879
This painting is reminiscent of a previous rendition of Sandro Botticellidepicting the same mythological subject matter and is one of William-Adolphe Bouguereau’s most famous works. Standing almost 10-feet tall and about 7-feet wide (3 x 2 meters), this large composition depicts Venus, the epitome of classical feminine beauty. Venus is depicted in the nude in the center of the frame, perched atop a scallop shell as she emerges from the sea. She is surrounded by several classical figures who are pictured gazing upon her with great interest and celebrating her arrival.

3. Biblical Nude by Valentine Cameron Prinsep

Valentine Cameron Prinsep, The First Awakening of Eve, ca. 19th century

4. Contemplative Male Nude by Théodore Géricault

Théodore Géricault, Nude Warrior with a Spear, ca. 1816

5. Famous Nude by Henri Rousseau

Henri Rousseau, The Dream (Le Rêve), ca. 1910

6. Curious Nudes by Kenyon Cox

Kenyon Cox, An Eclogue, ca. 1890

7. Captivating Nordic Nude by Andres Zorn

Anders Zorn, In the Skerries, ca. 1894

8. Warm Landscape Nude by Arnold Friedman

Arnold Friedman, Nudes in Landscape, ca. 1882 and 1946

9. Canadian Nude by Edwin Holgate

10. German Figurative Nude by Otto Mueller
