Many people at Sunsport have been vaccinated to avoid the Covid-19 virus. Now that anyone age 16 and up can receive protection, let's go for 100% of adults and older teens. It is important to protect the community. Meanwhile, masks still need to be worn indoors or within 3 feet of others outdoors unless all in the area have received the vaccines.

Sunsport is honored to be chosen to host the convention. On Friday, the 11th, AANR-Florida will have a social gathering with food and informational talks to which all Sunsport members are invited. It will be in the Pavilion starting at 7 pm. This is a good opportunity to get to know naturist leaders from throughout Florida. Now is the time to enroll your children or grandchildren in Sunsport's Naturist Family Youth Camp July 10-18

Children aged 4-17 and their families will experience a fun week of growth and community emphasizing interpersonal relations skills, learning, and creativity in a natural environment. As usual we will have an ocean beach day, a variety show, crafts, nature exploration, boating, non-competitive sports, and lots of pool time, with individual attention for each camper. Most of the favorite counselors will be returning. Enrollment forms are on Sunsport's website. If your child is attending, please call me at 561-791-1361 or 561-254-9878 or email me at morleynaturist@hotmail.com. I need to know the names and ages of campers and any activities adult family members might like to lead.
All adults (counselors and parents) working with campers and age 16 and 17 campers must be fully vaccinated two weeks before the start of camp so that there can be a full range of camp activities.

As usual, reduced special summer rates for ground fees and camping start in May. Ground fees will be reduced to $22 per day.
The ground fee is still $8 per day for people aged 18-30 with a student ID or membership in TNSF.
May is also the month when lower summer rates for site rentals start. Site holders may choose between taking a significantly lower summer rate or opting for a year round rate which is half way between the summer and winter rates.

The Sunsport Maintenance Team spends many hours daily collecting trash and recycling. Please bag all trash, separate recycling items, and either notify maintenance if you are putting large items in front of your lot or put large items in front of, not in, the main dumpster. It would be most helpful if residents and guests would take all recyclable items and bagged trash to the main dumpster area.
To help Sunsport and the environment, *please deposit aluminum cans in a special bin with a round hole in the top in the main recycling area.
- The yellow containers are for paper and flattened cardboard
- The blue containers are for aluminum cans*, glass, juice boxes, and plastics except styrofoam, bags, and utensils.
- Deposit other trash in the large grey or black trash bins with tops.
Please secure all trash cans tightly since raccoons are skilled at opening containers and making large messes. Thanks.

We still have alligators in the ponds. Please don't feed them (or the turtles). It will make the alligators easier to catch and relocate to the everglades.

The water flow on Sunsport property should be greatly improved reducing the chance of flooding. Holding ponds have been dug and connecting canals improved to enhance water movement throughout the grounds.
Another very important purpose is as the summer rains fill the canals it will enable mosquito fish to swim into the newly flooded canals and eat mosquitoes and their larva.

Enjoy yourself safely at naturally beautiful Sunsport Gardens.

Hey What is Permaculture?
Permaculture is a philosophy of design for creating a sustainable human culture. That is, it's a way of thinking about how we set up the support systems around us: shelter, food, water, energy, society and business. Well designed permaculture systems allow us to live as a beneficial part of the ecosystems around us.

Obsession: Nudes by Klimt, Schiele and Picasso from the Scofield Thayer Collection
Stirring and challenging, this frontal look at ecstasy revels in desire as it pits the age-old tradition of nude models against our #MeToo moment
Egon Schiele. Standing Nude with Orange Drapery, 1914.
Eros, palely crowned by Wikipedia “the Greek god of affection”, was by most visual records a naughty boy. Not so, Scofield Thayer, the aesthete and textile heir who funnelled a Harvard education into a notable monthly compilation of learned writings and avant-garde musings called the Dial. Culture-bound and tightly held, Thayer would most certainly have led his long life sheltered from the explicit worlds of aroused vulva and splayed thighs (his young marriage occasioned separate houses and the adoption of a child fathered by best friend EE

Egon Schiele. Two Reclining Nudes, 1911.

Cummings) had a partial breakdown in 1921 not sped him to Vienna to seek remedy from the great Sigmund Freud. Stimulation overtook cure. Sophisticated, exquisite and unleashed, no aspect of early-20s Vienna was sublimated – the art wrought in its back-street studios least of all.
Pablo Picasso. Seated Nude, 1908.
It stands either as one of Freud’s greatest successes or failures that, during a scant three years of analysis, Scofield amassed more than 600 works of art (fortuitously donated to the Metropolitan Museum of Art) – among them the obsessive drawings addressed here. If obsession is the curatorial umbrella that groups Klimt, Schiele and Picasso (and, by association, Thayer himself), sex is the subject. The best approach, for full impact, is surrender.
