JUNE NEWSLETTER
Three Nights for the Price of One!
Again this June, Sunsport is offering a special deal on accommodations: Stay one night, get a second night free. This is a great opportunity to have a weekend stay for the price of one night. Sunsport is participating in Women In Nude Recreation Weekend June 1-3. Ground fees will be half price for women. If women rent an accommodation for a night, the next two nights will be free, three nights for the price of one. Special Women's Weekend activities include the Friday evening drum circle, interactive discussions, yoga, arts & crafts, pool time, and women's movie night.

Good news: Chris Vuk has returned as a chef in the restaurant. He is joining Scooba Stradford, Page Burge, and Mary Woods.

On Wednesday, July 4th, the popular Island Brothers Reggae Band will return to play poolside. Come dance around the pool deck or in the water.
Sunsport's 11th Annual Naturist Family Youth Camp will be July 14-22. Spaces for campers are still available. Children aged 4-17 and their families will experience a fun week of growth and community emphasizing interpersonal relations skills, learning, and creativity in a natural environment. As usual we will have a fun-filled day playing in the sand and surf at a clothing-optional ocean beach, a camp variety show, crafts, nature exploration, canuding and kayaking, non-competitive sports, producing a claymation video, campfires, and lots of pool time, with individual attention for each camper. There will be special activities best done clothesfree such as a slip-n-slide with paint, tie dye, water balloon throwing, gooey games, and a 10 foot ice cream sundae with as much landing on bodies as in mouths. Workshops on being proud of who we are, body acceptance, communication skills, and conflict resolution will help establish an atmosphere of caring about each other's feelings and positive relationships.
Parents are encouraged to attend the camp participating as much or as little as they like. Most of the favorite counselors will be returning. A gallery of camp photos, articles, and claymation videos from past years are on Sunsport's website. Enrollment forms are on Sunsport's website. If your child is attending, please email me at morleynaturist@hotmail.com. I need to know the names and ages of campers and any activities adult family members might like to lead. This information would be helpful to Bettina and Annette Levy who are returning this year as camp directors. AANR-Florida is offering a scholarship for a camper whose parents are AANR-Florida members. Please let me now if you are interested. I want to thank the Naturist Education Foundation (part of the Naturist Society) and the American Association for Nude Recreation for making significant financial contribution to help support the camp.

Starting the first Friday in July, there will be a $5 ground fee for the Community Drum Circle evening. As always the event is from 5 pm to 2 am. Drumming is from 9 pm to midnight.
First time visitors to Sunsport and people camping, staying in Sunsport accommodations, or patronizing the restaurant are exempt from the $5 fee.
There has been some confusion about asking to have the sewage dumped from trailers by the honey wagon. The honey wagon operates only on Wednesdays except in extraordinary circumstances. Requests for dumping must be made in the office by 5 pm (1 pm in summer) on the day prior to the service. Be certain that your name is on the dumping list and that you receive a receipt for the $20 fee.
Theresa and I start our summer travel to Naturist Society events and to visit my children and grandchildren this month. However, we will never be away from Sunsport for more than two weeks at a time.
We love the Sunsport community and don't want to stay away any longer.

THE JABOTICABA, THE PERFECT FOOD FOREST ADDITION
Sunsport has several trees on the grounds.
Most people wouldn’t be able to recognize the Jaboticaba on sight. Most wouldn’t even know what the word means. However, this unusual tree is much-beloved in the permaculture community for many reasons. The small space needed to grow the Jaboticaba, their ease of care, pest resilience and compact growth make them an easy pick for anyone trying to incorporate more edible, unusual and hardy plants into the start of their food forest.
