ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE NOVEMBER FULL MOON DRUM CIRCLE IN FT. LAUDERDALE
From: Debe Fisher, coordinator, debe24@aol.com
To: All drummers who received parking tickets at the last full moon on
the Ft. Lauderdale beach:
I have spoken to the police, the park, and the parking enforcement people.
ALL TICKETS THAT WERE ISSUED AT THE NOVEMBER CIRCLE ARE NOW CANCELED.
There will be printed copies of a letter available at the next full moon
drum circle. Send in that letter with your ticket and the ticket will
be erased from the system - but the tickets should be deleted even by
now based on my conversations with them. The park is sorry for the in-
convience.
Here is the NEW PARKING POLICY for the full moon drum circles:
1. If the gate-tender leaves, the gate will be left open until 2am.
That is to say - parking must be accessible as long as the park is
officially open, even if there's no one collecting moneuy at the
gate.
2. Cars still in the parking lot at 2am, when the park officially
closes, can then be ticketed.
3. The "no open alcohol containers" rule still applies in all city parks,
and will be enforced.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Debe Fisher, facilitator for the Ft. Lauderdale full moon drum circle
